Kantorei KC holds open auditions by appointment at any time. Pay is hourly for rehearsals with a concert stipend. Level of pay is determined by a combination of prior professional ensemble experience and time of service in our group.  

To start the process, please send the following to kantoreikc@gmail.com with AUDITION as the memo:

1. An up to date resume

2. An indication of your general availability during evenings and weekends in December, April and June.

3. An mp3 performance of an art song or aria of your choice.

4. An mp3 vocalization showing your full range with and without vibrato.

You will be contacted whether or not an in person interview or further audition will be necessary. If we do not have a spot for you at the time of your audition, then your materials will be kept on file for future vacancies.

Note: Kantorei KC paid staff positions function as “section leaders” during our youth collaborations. We have an expectation of full preparation prior to all first rehearsals, as well as an professional, open, flexible and positive approach to all rehearsals.
